Product Overview
This Marking Endurance Test Equipment is designed to precisely evaluate the durability and legibility of product markings under mechanical wiping and chemical exposure conditions. It faithfully simulates real-world wear by performing controlled rubbing tests using water and 95% n-hexane, ensuring compliance with stringent international marking endurance requirements.
The tester applies a stable and repeatable rubbing motion at approximately one cycle per second, delivering a precisely controlled pressure force of (5 ± 1) N. A specially designed test piston—wrapped with standardized cotton and medical gauze—ensures uniform contact with the marking surface. Manufactured from chemical-resistant elastic material with a Shore-A hardness of 47 ± 5, the piston guarantees consistent performance and long-term reliability. For longer markings, the system allows focused testing over a defined path of at least 20 mm, providing flexible yet compliant test execution.
With its accurate force control, realistic test simulation, and robust construction, this equipment offers dependable and repeatable assessment of marking endurance.
